The rugged construction along with high temperature and high watt density capabilities allow CEM's HTMI Band Heater to surpass all other band heaters in providing the ever increasing temperature requirements for processing today's high tech materials. The advanced desigh and low/thin profile allow the quick transfer of heat from the element to the sheath of efficient operations of up to 1400 ° F sheath temperature.

This unique design allows watt densities as high a 200 watts per square inch. A stainless steel sheath encases a compressed mineral refractory material which surrounds a helical or sinuated resistance element of Grade A Nichrome Wire. The HTMI Band Heater can withstand shock, vibration and many contaminants long after standard band heater have failed. The HTMI Design greatly improves heater performance resulting in improved machine productivity in the most difficult applications.
